$122 million dollars has been allocated to expand the existing Port of Entry. The plan will will improve both pedestrian and commerical circulation by doubling the size of processing and expanding the import lot.

The Central Village Specific Plan is a mixed-use urban village in the Otay Mesa Community developed around a neighborhood school, parks and a connecting “green street.”

The SR 11/Otay Mesa East Port of Entry Project will feature a 4-lane tolled road connecting directly to Customs & Border Protection Land Port of Entry and a California Highway Patrol Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility (CVEF).
